Anyone deeply involved in body building will readily tell you that body building is much more than just a sport. When you find a good encyclopedia of bodybuilding, see if it talks about body building as a way of life rather than just discussing information on the sport of body building.

There are some great tools available to the aspiring body builder including definitions, suggestions, advice, and much more. You can find some great resources when it comes to searching for an encyclopedia of body building. These resources can be online or even in book form.

When online, you might want to check out GetRippedProducts.com. Although not a body building encyclopedia, the website does have some good information on protein supplements. You can get tips on how to workout properly, information on the best supplements to use, plus ways to get the proper nutrition for an effective body building routine.

Another good website for protein supplements is www.proteinwheysupplements.com. This website has been redesigned to provide suggestions for body builders and weight lifters looking to improve their workout programs.

For teens who are looking for a comprehensive encyclopedia of body building, check out www.teenbodybuilding.com. This site is directly aimed toward teen body builders and how young people can workout properly without injury. Their articles give some great information to help any teen with his or her body building program.

There have been many good books written about the sport of body building. One more recent is that written by fitness expert Bill Dobbins with the collaboration of body building legend Arnold Schwarzeneggar titled The Bible of Body Building, which is considered the new encyclopedia of body building.

Weight lifting expert Paul Ward has also published a book on body building. His Encyclopedia of Weight Training concentrates on the weight lifting portion of a body building program. It tells about how to incorporate weight lifting into your exercise plan and how to perform those exercises correctly to minimize the chance of injury.

There are many choices for an encyclopedia of body building. With all of the resources available, finding one of these comprehensive guides to body building should be no problem. A good encyclopedia of body building can be very helpful to bodybuilders and weightlifters alike.

Protein drinks should be relatively low in calories as well as being packed with protein. Most of them today are decent tasting even being low in calories, which by the way is different than when powder protien drinks were originally entroduced to bodybuilders and weightlifters.

In fact, some of the better quality protien drinks by Optimum and Myoplex really taste good especially after workouts. Of course, downing a cold load of amino acids in the form of a chocolate or strawberry shake is like eating a grilled chicken breast or steak after a long day on the job.

Protein isolate powders make it easy to stay pumped up with protein throughout the day. And to appease those that felt powder protein shakes were not convenient enough, companies like Myoplex have developed RTD shakes- Ready To Drink. That pretty much took care of the crowd on the go no matter what their job description or workplace.

With all that said, protein is not the key to building muscle. Exercise is the definite main factor in muscle growth. Protein shakes are good sources for supplementing the body’s needs for additional protein for active people like athletes.
